First of all take a deep breath.........OK, now no decaf, you can have caf. free.  Celestial Seasons has a Fruit Sampler that is caf. free and is good for variety.

Something warm, and soothing, Swansan's Chicken Broth with roasted garlic.  Like one of my recent post op friends said, "You don't feel like your missing anything.  It tastes and feels like you had the noodles and carrots and all."

Stop picking up stuff and kids that you shouldn't.  You will end up back in the hospital or worse! Then where will your kids and hubby be?

You don't feel normal, because your body is not getting it's proper nourishment, your hormones are dumping and you just had your guts re-arranged!

Don't worry about the gas, unless you start noticing you can't get things to go down or stay down, then call your surgon.

Look at my profile page, there is a link to my youtube.  On my One Week Post Op video, at the end I post photos of my incisions.  They are red and swollen and I was upset to find out that the staples won't come out for another week, they itch and bother me, and the larger one is the one I fear infection on.  The RN said they all looked normal.  It may help you to have someone elses to look at and compare.

It gets better!  You can PM me any time you want to chat.

I am so excited that you are doing a youtube.  I was watching a lot of them before surgery.  That is really awesome of you to do it.  I know that the ones I watched helped me immensely!

Thank you.  They helped me too.  But you have to keep the ball rolling.  There needs to be people of all stages currently participating.  That gives the advantage of having a broad range of support and experience.  While I value the folks who are further out, I also like having folks that are there in the mix with me now.

Wow that was a lot of questions.  lol You sound a lot like me so early out.

I think that Brandy nailed all of your concerns though.  Just take it easy.  It is so much right away, but the pain gets better and time flies by.

Take care and good luck going back to work!
